"World as mirror for
Moldova" series of publication
The purpose of the project is actualization of scientific knowledge in archaeologic domain, anthropology, cultural science, ancient and modern history in a context of the new ideological paradigm formation in the Moldavian society. A series of publications "World as mirror for Moldova" has been founded in 1999 by the publication of N.D.Russeva "On the border of the worlds and epochs" book. Monographies and the educational editions containing a new, nonconventional sight at problems of a cultural heritage and cultural continuity are published in its framework. Subjects of works are the following: history, archaeology, and cultural anthropology. There are no restrictions connected to territorial and chronological frameworks of research.

"Archaeologic Records of Moldova" series was founded
in 2000 by the publication of the monography of P.P. Byrnya
and T.F. Ryaboi "Two treasures from Old Orhei".
Expansion of published subjects not limited by interfluve
of Prut and Dniestr region has been settled as further direction.
In fact the true value of the Moldavian discoveriess becomes
clear only on the background of wide historical canvas.
Such series create prerequisites for more active co-operation
of scientists from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and
other countries.


V.M.Bochkaryov
and V.A.Dergachyov's "Metal sickles of late
bronze of the Eastern Europe" monography is
published in Russian now. Though it was already issued in
Munich in German translation. This monography is the unique
compilation of the Bronze age history major records on the
agricultural instruments from Pannoniya to Trans-Urals.
It contains the catalogue of sickles (many are published
for the first time) and deep historical synthezis.
