Galina V. Zasypkina
Born in 1974.
In 1997 graduated
from the State University of Moldova, department of History.
In 1998-1999 Russia
Academy of Science Institute of Material Culture History in
St. Petersburg probation period.
From 1996 till 2003
regularly takes part in field researches of the following
archaeologic expeditions: «Rudi-Maetonium» (1996-2002), joint
Moldo-Bulgarian expedition (2000), Lower Danube archaeologic
Expedition of joint archaeological Museum of the National
academy of Science (Odessa, Ukraine) and the High Anthropological
School (Kishinev, Moldova)(2002-2003), Ancient Crimea archaeologic
Expedition of State Hermitage (2003).
Since 2000 – member
of the High Anthropological School teaching staff.
Scientific Interests:
Ancient and Medieval archaeology.
Now carries work
on «Culture and heritage of Carpathian-Dniester region in
I-II cc.A.D.» thesis. In its framework reported during the
annual conference in Kishinev (1999) and International Conference
«Archaeology and ethnography of Eastern Europe: youth’s step
in XXI century» (Odessa, 2002).
Gives lectures: History
of Civilization (Europe in Middle Age).
