Constantin V. Gaindrik
Born in 1941.
In 1962 graduated
from Alecu Russo State Pedagogical University (Balti), physico-mathematical
department.
From 1964 till 1967
– senior laboratory assistant and junior reasearch associate
in the Institute of Mathematics, the Academy of Science (MSSR).
In 1964-1966 – postgraduate
studies the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute in
USSR Academy of Science (Moskow).
In 1967-1977 – functioned
in the Republic of Moldova State Committee of Planning, headed
the Institute of Informatics, the Computing Center and the
Institute of Planning (the Republic of Moldova). In 1972 upheld
Ph. D. Thesisi in Moscow.
From 1977 till 1991
– chief executive of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics,
the academy of Science (the Republic of Moldova) From 1991
– principal of this Institute.
In 1996 awarded with
«Meritul Civic» medal.
In 2000 successfully
upholding of doctoral thesis.
In 2002 C.V. Gaindrik
confered the rank of University Professor.
Scientific Interests:
Research of operations, applied mathematical models and mathematical
methods in Scientific Researches, Systems of Reaching Decision.
C.V. Gaindrik is:
• member of the Balcan
«Fuzzy System» Society;
• member of the Romanian Society of Mathematical Modelling;
• chief-editor of "Computer Science Journal of Moldova"
edition;
• member of editorial board of "Studies in Informatics
and Control" journal (edited by Romanian Academy of Science,
Bucharest);
• member of editorial board of the International "Fuzzy
Systems and A. I. Reports & letters" journal, Iasi;
• member of editorial board of «Systems and Enginery of Management»
(Ukraine Academy of Science, Kiev);
• The Moldavian Society of Mathematics member.
Author of more than
70 published scientific works.
Since 1998 member
of the High Anthropological School teaching staff. In 1998-2003
dean of Administration and Programming Faculty. Gives lectures
on Basics of Mathematical Modeling.
