Why to study at the High Anthropological School?

Conceptual basis of the High Anthropological School is closely linked with the problem of young specialists’ employment, modern approaches to university education and with the development of our world progressing into the postindustrial era.

These factors require training of the specialists orientating themselves adequately to the quickly changing environment and meeting ever growing requirements of economic, political and ethno-cultural integrative processes’.
Tendency to train specialists of narrow profile, engaged in strictly determined field of activity remains unchanged in many universities of Moldova today. And we can observe a certain discord in educational state of affairs between the spontaneously appeared spectrum of so-called «prestigious» professions such as law, economics, medicine, and IT, and «marginal» professions that include most of humanities.

Meanwhile, it is this latter domain that sees formation of a coalition of the most prestigious professional directions (see: Anthropological Career). Such professional skills as forecast of a situation and quick and optimal decision-making, ability to regulate and analyze a wide range of information and to be familiar with psychology of different social and ethnic groups are especially appreciated now.

Development of such qualities is the main goal of the educational strategy adopted at the High Anthropological School. That strategy substantially corresponds to the measures of reconstruction of university education and setting of educational system in Moldova according to the international standards.

Tutorial system practiced by universities in Western Europe and the USA, aimed mainly at development of creative and intellectual skills, is accepted by the High Anthropological School as the main learning instrument.

Selection of such educational programs that correspond to West-European and American cultural anthropological education is used for the same purposes. And its main part is based on the scientific researches of the teaching staff.

The main objective of the High Anthropological School is to form a rich and up-to-date educational environment for future specialists’ training, able to give skills and knowledge required for the successful realization of large opportunities for career development.
